Summer to Winter 2013

What a great garden journey it's been thus far!

We set out to explore the garden landscapes in our neighborhoods, and we found an interconnected web of people and their food. There are as many variations of garden foodies as there are leaves on their plants. Here's a video of some folks we harvested and broke bread with this summer:
We learned about mycorrhizal fungi and how to milk a goat. We found stories of plants and animals that are woven into peoples lives in such subtle and profound ways. We built a saloon dinning hall where we had many delicious dinners. We learned about our local bio-regions, and the importance of coming together to break bread in our community!
Thank you for such a wonderful opening and invitation to the path that leads back to the garden!
